What data we ask you for, what we use it for, who else sees it and how you get it deleted. It's written to be understood: the two paragraphs the law requires us to reproduce word for word are at the end, marked for what they are.

In one line
We don't sell your data. We use what you tell us to answer you, book the motorcycle and organise the trip.
The groups form sends nothing to any server of ours: it builds a WhatsApp message that you send.
Who is responsible for your data
CRA Rider Experience is the trading name of CRA Racing S.A.S., tax ID 30-71918171-2, registered at Coronel Moldes 271, B° Campo Caseros, Salta, Argentina. It decides what is done with the data that arrives through this site, and it is who you complain to if something isn’t right.
For anything about your data: hola@cramotorental.com.
What data we ask for
What you write to us
When you contact us on WhatsApp, by email or by phone we receive your name, your number or your address, and what you tell us about the trip: dates, days available, riding experience, who you're coming with.
What you fill in on the groups and agencies form
Name, email, WhatsApp if you give it, whether you're writing as a group, agency, company or club, how many motorcycles, when, the group's experience and your message.
That form sends nothing to any server of ours: it builds a WhatsApp message that you send. If you close the tab before sending it, what you wrote is kept nowhere.
What's needed to rent
When you sign the contract we ask for national ID or passport, a valid driver's license for the engine size, and the security deposit details. That happens at our base or at handover, not on the site.
What browsing records
The measurement tools in section 5 record pages viewed, where you arrived from and general details about your device.
What we don't ask for
Sensitive data: health, religion, political opinions, racial origin, sex life. We don't ask for any of it on any channel. If you tell us something like that in a message of your own accord, it stays in that conversation and goes into no database.
What we use it for
- To answer you and put together a quote. Without your dates and your days there's no possible answer.
- To book the motorcycle and arrange pickup and drop-off. Where and when we bring it to you.
- To fulfil the rental contract. Invoicing, the deposit and what the motorcycle's insurance requires.
- To send you information about the trip you booked. Roadbook, recommendations, last-minute changes.
- To measure what brought the enquiry in. Which ad or which search, with the tools in section 5.
We don't send promotions to anyone who didn't ask for them. If we ever build a newsletter list, it will be with a box you tick yourself and an unsubscribe link in every message.
Processing rests on your consent when you write to us, and on the contractual relationship when you rent a motorcycle or book an expedition, under the terms of Law 25.326.
Who else sees it
- WhatsApp, which belongs to Meta. The conversation lives on their servers, under their own rules.
- The email provider. That's where the emails you send us sit.
- Vercel, the company that hosts the site, which sees the technical access logs.
- The motorcycle's insurer, if there's an incident that has to be reported.
- Our accountant and the public authorities, for invoicing and what the law requires us to report.
- The guide and the expedition logistics, if you book one: your name and your contact details, to put the group together.
We do not sell, rent or pass on data for third-party advertising.
Data that leaves the country
WhatsApp, Meta and Google process data outside Argentina, mostly in the United States. When you write to us on WhatsApp or browse the site, your data travels with them to those servers.
Cookies and measurement
What the site stores on its own
One single thing: whether you chose the light or the dark theme. It isn't a cookie, it's a value saved in your own browser under the key cra-tema, and it never travels to any server. Clearing the site's data in your browser deletes it.
What Google and Meta store
- Google tag. To know which ad or which search brought the enquiry in, and to stop showing you the same ad once you've already written.
- Meta pixel. The same for Instagram and Facebook ads.
Both work with those platforms' own cookies. You can control them from your browser settings, at myadcenter.google.com for Google and at facebook.com/adpreferences for Meta. Blocking them doesn't stop you using the site or writing to us.
If another measurement tool is added, this page is updated.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't end in a rental: twelve months, and then they're deleted.
- Contracts, invoices and receipts: ten years, the period the Civil and Commercial Code sets for accounting books and records.
- WhatsApp conversations: they stay on the phone and in the company account. They're deleted when you ask us to.
- Rental documents (a copy of the ID and the license): for as long as the rental and the insurance claim period last.
If you ask us to delete them sooner, everything we aren't legally required to keep is deleted.
Your rights
You can ask for four things about your own data, free of charge:
- Information. To know whether we hold data about you and where it came from.
- Access. That we show you what it is.
- Rectification and updating. That we correct whatever is wrong or out of date.
- Erasure. That we delete it, with the exception in section 6.
The deadlines
Access is answered within ten calendar days of the request. Rectification, updating or erasure, within five working days.
You can also withdraw your consent whenever you like, and that applies going forward: it doesn't erase what was already needed to fulfil a contract.
How to ask us
Send an email to hola@cramotorental.com with the subject “Personal data”. Tell us what you want, to see it, correct it or delete it, and attach a photo of the ID you contacted us with.
We ask for ID for one reason only: so we don't hand your data to someone else claiming to be you.
If the answer doesn't satisfy you, you can complain to the Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública, the supervisory authority for Law 25.326.
Minors
You have to be of legal age to rent a motorcycle, so we process no data about minors through the rental. We don't ask for it anywhere on the site either.
If a family trip requires details of an accompanied minor, the responsible adult provides them and they are used only for that departure.
Changes to this policy
When something changes, the date in the header changes. If the change affects what for we use the data, it is announced on this page before it takes effect.
The version in force is always the one you're reading.
What the law requires us to say
Verbatim quotations required by Argentine law. They are reproduced in Spanish, which is the wording the law prescribes.
Notice required of the data controller
Something about your data
Write to us with the subject “Personal data” and tell us what you want: to see it, correct it or delete it. We reply within the deadlines in section 7.
